Excellent contrast; reminds me of those old red-and-blue 3D images they used to add in some coloring books--the ones where you had to wear those flimsy cardboard glasses in order to see the effect.
I like how you represetned the contrasting elements as well, especially the ice--using crystals rather than a snowball, or some whispy intangible, for instance.
And the expressions are so warm and genuine, that is it almost creepy! Your usual style is normally so dark and macabre, so to see such affection through the eyes and smiles seems to border on the sarcastic...but I like it! Well done
